IO#5 – Modular program for the training and further education of educators and trainers, consisting of course modules and micro-modules

Here you can find details of Intellectual Output #5: EduPASS – Online Teaching Platform, a modular program for the training and further education of Youth Sport Coaches and Early Childhood Educators.

In Intellectual Output #5, an online teaching platform for Youth Sport Coaches (YSC) and Early Childhood Educators (ECE) was developed based on the results collected in R3 and R4. For both profiles (YSC and ECE), six core modules were developed that focus on promoting physical activity, movement, play and sport (PAMPS) in children. The minimum requirement for a module is at least 2 courses and at least 2 teaching units per course. The total amount of time is 30 hours.

We would like to encourage you to adapt the modules, courses and time frames to the respective national context – whether it is in higher education or sports associations, educators’ associations or similar.

The handbook, which is being developed in IO#8, is intended to help you implement the modules in your own context. More information will follow soon.
